Opensource software in many cases exceeds the quality, reliability, features, and usability of a growing number of our toolsets, which until recently were only offered by commercial software companies. We use over a dozen opensource software tools.

Verisign is one of the leading providers of internet security and payment processing. We use several of Verisign's products.

Thawte provides digital certificates for SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption of information between the server and browser. Thawte is a company owned by Verisign.

Sonic Foundry, a home grown Madison company, creates some of the best multimedia tools for editing audio and video. We use Sound Forge and Vegas Video and Acid. (Now known as "Sony Media Software")

Ektron provides in-browser WYSIWYG html editor tools for database driven content management systems, which enable our clients to manage content on their websites without needing to know html or purchase special tools.

Real Networks offers high quality streaming media server software which runs on our dedicated streaming server. Real offers a free player and still leads the streaming media pack by a narrow margin in this highly competitive industry.

Deepmetrix offers realtime intelligence about website traffic and usage reporting. What good is a website without high visibility of how the site is being used?
